Gorri writes steamy Paranormal and Contemporary Romance with heart, humor, and heat.A lifelong book lover from New Jersey, she infuses her stories with the magic of her home state—whether they feature Shifters, Vampires, Witches, or morally gray billionaires. Her fast-paced romances celebrate sassy, curvy heroines and the possessive, love-driven heroes who adore them. Every tale is packed with feels, action, and a guaranteed HEA.If you crave fated mates, fierce devotion, and swoon-worthy passion where loyalty wins and love always triumphs, you’re in the right place. What inspired you to become an author?Honestly, this is the only thing I’ve ever wanted to do. Writing has always been a part of who I am—storytelling feels as natural to me as breathing. From a young age, I was captivated by books and the way they could transport you to entirely new worlds. That love of reading grew into a passion for creating my own stories, filled with heart, humor, and a touch of magic. Becoming an author wasn’t just a dream. And I feel incredibly grateful every day that I get to share my worlds and characters with readers. When did you publish your first book, and what was the title?I published my first book in 2014—Wolf Moon: A Grazi Kelly Novel—a Young Adult Urban Fantasy about a teenage werewolf destined for greatness. It marked the beginning of my writing journey and the world that would eventually grow into my larger paranormal universe. Do you have a recent release, sale, or upcoming release? My release schedule stays pretty full—I typically publish one to two new books every month! My stories are shorter, fast-paced, and perfect for busy readers who love complete stories with satisfying HEAs. This holiday season, I’m especially excited to share two new releases: Noel, the first book in my brand-new bodyguard romance series, and Holiday Honey for the Badger, a cozy and steamy new installment in the Date to Mate world. And that’s just the beginning—January is shaping up to be full of surprises you won’t want to miss! What are your favorite tropes to write?I love writing stories that celebrate fated mates, found family, protective alpha shifters, and curvy heroines who own their power. My books often feature magic, mayhem, and small-town supernatural communities, along with opposites attract energy, second chances, and those irresistible witch-shifter bonds. In my contemporary and sports romances, you’ll find fake dating, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, grumpy-and-sunshine dynamics, hidden pasts, and overprotective heroes with soft spots for strong, sassy women. My darker and romantic suspense stories dive into morally gray men, obsessive love, bodyguard romances, dangerous secrets, and redemption arcs—all tied together by heat, humor, heart, and a guaranteed happily ever after. And when you read, what are your favorite tropes?I actually very much enjoy a wide variety of books from biographies to thrillers, but if we are talking romance, I do love a good cowboy, grumpy/sunshine story! Are there any romance authors you look up to?There are so many wonderful indie authors I’ve met during my eleven years publishing who I look up to! Patricia Mattern, Julia Mills, Rebecca Hefner, and Gina Kincade to name a few. As for heroes, I suppose it’s the usual suspects Nora Roberts, JR Ward, Diana Palmer, and again dozens more. What is your favorite book? The Princess Bride Do you have a writing ritual? When I write, I need absolute quiet—no music, no TV, no distractions. I like to fully sink into the world I’m creating, and silence helps me focus on the rhythm of the words. I don’t usually snack while I’m working (too hard to type and munch at the same time!), but I always have a drink nearby. A good cup of coffee or a tall glass of iced tea keeps me going, and sometimes a bit of gum helps me think through tricky scenes. It’s a simple setup, but it keeps me grounded and in the zone. What’s your favorite book that you’ve written? That’s such a tough question—it’s like asking me to pick a favorite child! But if I had to choose, it always comes back to my first book, Wolf Moon. Grazi’s story gave me the courage to finally hit “publish” and start this incredible journey.
